There's plenty of reasons to make sure one's ballot is correct before submitting it.
Here are the reasons one may use as to why one's ballot was not what one wanted it to be:
-- The lines were too long and I was tired of waiting; I just wanted to get my civic duty done and get outa there!
-- I was late for my appointment to get my tires rotated.
-- I was distracted because I was sick of hearing that kid ask his Mom over and over again, "Can I push the button? Can I push the button?!"
-- The voting area was too hot and crowded.
-- The voting area was too cold and crowded.
-- I didn't want anyone to know I had a question; it would make me look dumb.
Next time, focus on your mission, your duty, your right as a citizen of the United States of America. Ask questions *before* you submit your ballot. Don't whine after you've submitted your ballot.
So, why would I call myself "Narrow-Minded Simpleton," a moniker
that is usually launched with derision towards far-right Christian
"lunatics" who quote the Bible all the time and think there's only
one (simple) Way to Heaven?
